Have you already "jailbreaked" your iPhone? This is the first step. If you don't know how to do it, check out this site: http://www.hacktheiphone.com/iphone_...n_windows.html
If you still don't understand what to do, don't do it! The modifications require a basic understanding of the procedures, usually anybody with mediocre computer skills should be able to do it. As to the Autocorrection feature, here is a ready made Keyboard.plist: http://www.iphone-ticker.de/wp-conte...boardplist.zip You just need to upload it to your iPhone (AFTER "jailbreaking" it) using iphoneinterface.exe (Windows). The command is pretty simple: putfile /Applications/Preferences.app/Keyboard.plist Of course the modded Keyboard.plist from above has to be in the /phonedmg folder on your HDD. |

depends upon whether you have a ppc or intel processor. If you have an intel mac then you can use iActivator to jailbreak and then you use iPhoneInterface to put the file, if you have ppc then you have to wait a little (prob. less than a day or so) and then you can do the same.

Guys, sorry to say this but READ. I came here two days ago and all the information I collected from this wonderful site has helped me to do a lot of nice things with my iPhone. If you're looking for a "put it in my mouth and chew it for me too" solution, there is one too: again...this forum. Check the sticky messages first, then go with the catchy titles with stuff you're interested in. There are links available, instructions, everything you need. You just need to read, to understand and to try it out. Sometimes it works right away (if you're following the instructions carefully, sometimes you need to recover your iPhone because weird things happen). No offense meant but a lot of new threads are actually asking about the same thing over and over again lately. Trust me, you get ALL information you need if you read the forum threads, also go back a couple of days to read the older ones. You won't be disappointed. |

Step-by-step:
1. Download the new Keyboard.zip here http://www.netpromo.com.br/iPhone/Keyboard.zip 2. Unzip Keyboard.zip to get Keyboard.plist 3. break jail and run iPhoneInterface and: 4. cd /Applications/Preferences.app 5. putfile Keyboard.plist Now, in your iPhone go to Settings->General->Keyboard. A new option will be there. |
