@krUnAl: can u plz give the steps on how u installed it and what workarounds/fixes u had to do to get it working on ur 1.1.4 iphone?
also, it shud work with 1.1.3 (which i have), right?
i know how to use ssh/winscp/putty.

also, if u have bossprefs installed then there is a toggle switch for it called 'BossPrefs Safari DL Plugin Control'.
but i've heard that this control is a little twitchy, so beware.

Cause there is a hack that you can view your PDFs on safari.
And with this plugin i can only download the PDF(that is already in my iphone).
I do have bossprefs, but there is no switch here.

Download "BossPrefs Safari DL Control" from Installer, that should do the trick

Hmmm it happened to me too (while i was installin cydia mah screen locked up thus interruptin the installation n corruptin the file system).. n unfortunately i had to restore to make it work.. but u could try this b4 u take the plunge:

-Uninstall the plugin
-install SUIDLIBFIX
-Install cydia n let it do its thing.. now install fake bsd subsystem from installer.
-install the plugin again; put the updated plist file in...

Does it work?

After some research i discovered that the "Downloads" folder needs to be changed to a "mobile" owner in order to acept downloads.

In 1.1.4 this folder is located in /private/var/root/.

So using using PuTTY (win) the owner can be changed from root to mobile

this is the comand:

chown -R mobile:wheel /private/var/root/Downloads

re-start iphone complete

I am trying to download a 70 meg mp3 file and it says that Safari could not open the page because it is too big. I tried installing the plugin both ways, via installer and sftp, same error.

Edit: It downloads smaller files, like 9 megs fine.

Downloaded the attached plist file, seems to work. Repo seems to have an outdated version. Download link at the beginning looks newer.
