This weekend I went out camping with some friends, while playing cards and having no paper/pencil around I tough about using the phone as a score keeper.
I ended using the notes app (what a PITA!) a native app to keep simple scores would be great.

A scoreboard for 1 to xx (xx=number of players) would be great, I can think about many options right now, but there is no point in listing them all until some developer wants to do the app.

[edit] something like this http://www.apple.com/webapps/games/scorekeeper.html but native and with more players option, I had no signal where I camped

Seems easy enough.

I'm a java developer by trade, but I also dabble in other languages for fun (yes, fun, I'm a confessed nerd).

I was looking for an application to sink my teeth into to learn Objective C. I might give this a shot, in addition to the other application I'm looking at writing.

Ok, well after going in loops with the toolchain, I've found myself at home with developing with Jiggy.

I've got:
- An initial working version (minus icon)
- Allows for 1 to 8 scoreboards
- Installer source working along with upgrades (along with install and uninstall)

To do for initial release:
- make a decent icon

Future plans:
- Allow creating 'names' for the teams/players/whatever
- Change the colors of each scoreboard
- Change the increments of scoring

I'll post (or possibly PM) you the installer link for you to give it a shot peu.
