Hi,

I have an iPhone 2G (First gen) (8 Gig) which was 1.1.2 OTB, purchased from United States. I was using Firmware 2.2 and upgraded to Firmware 3.0.

I am using TurboSIM, so I can see my Carrier name and make calls using my SIM. However, I see the "slide for emergency" screen.

How do I get rid of this ??

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

same issue here, without turbo sim, but slide for emegency screen was not expected if i press the update button :S

by the way, this is not a turbosim problem, its a 3.0 activation problem..

Exactly! I just need to by-pass activation....

Any clue on what to do ?

I had the same issue and what I did was using an AT&T sim and inserted. It should bypass the Emergency mode or Jail broken would bypass emergency mode.

You also need a new Turbo sim for 3.0 Firmware.
