I bought an T-Mobile locked Iphone on Ebay Germany. But I would like to use a prepaid card. I read something about turbosim and this solution should be illegal in Germany? Is it true?
It´s also sending always Data through the GSM-network? Is that also true?

My problem is, I will get the Iphone with the original bill, so I will get 2 years of warranty. If I will hack the Iphone I will lose it, won´t I?

The Iphone was bought on 20.5.09 in a T-Mobile Shop... I think the software must be very actually.

Are there some alternatives to turbo-sim? How does it work? What are the advantages and disadvantages of turbosim?

The "allways sending data" would be new to me. I'm using an 2G in germany with an e-plus-prepaid-sim; the phone is unlocked by software. If you've got warranty needs, you can allways restore your device back to the original firmware and every software modification is gone.
I personaly don't appreciate hardware-solutions like turbosim... working with hardware solutions on software trouble is like driving on the tip of an skyscraper and taking a dump down: unnecessary dump
