Guys please remember - if you have 3G enabled and you are trying to use tmobile, you will not be able to use this *sim card....

So turn off your 3g settings, put in epc.tmobile.com for your APN and enable data roaming. If you turn on 3g, it will wipe out your APN and you'll have to start all over again.

Also you have to make sure that the *sim is making contact with your sim card and the phone. It can only go in one way, but its very thin so make sure its not getting crunched when you slide the sim tray in. Be careful!

It would be nice if the *sim had those dimples on each side that way it could contact the SIM card and the phone simultaneously. Just my $.02... Thx

I don't have Tmobile. I'm using the Swedish operator Comviq. I have 3g off and roaming is on.

That is the APN for Tmobile users in the states... you have to contact your carrier for their EDGE settings...

my ismartphone is not working too. I have Simyo (Germany) i tried lot of things eg restore and fresh jailbreak.

I disabled 3G reset Networksetings wait 5-15 min, it say no simcard installed.

epc.tmobile is the APN settings you have to enter

Try and find your network's APN settings and input them,

MAKE SURE THE connectors are in line please.

If it does not work, you can return it to me.

Its not your phone its the i-smartphone turbo sim try something else like a Gevey maybe even a Rebel. Just BEWARE OF i-smartphones.

no, save yourself some money and don't spend it on a Rebel, unless 2G is good enough after spending quite some $$ on a 3G phone.

Hey mate, I agree with you that Rebel sim is crap.

But there is no way to unlock the iPhone 3G to 2.2.1 such that the 3G data function works. DevTeam and the technicians at various firms in China are working to create a fully stable and functional unlock..

But as it stands: the turbo sims are all we can rely on. I feel it is better to have SOME FUNCTIONALITY (MOST FUNCTIONALITY in the case of the i-Smartphone turbo sim) than NO FUNCTIONALITY. As a quick reminder, make sure you are buying the LATEST version of turbo sims or you will be wasting your TIME and MONEY. I know of many eBayers who pass of 2.1 and 2.2 turbo sims as capable of unlocking 2.2.1. That is just wrong.

Anyways... sure, 3G data transmission is not working yet, but at least EDGE works right? Plus, I expect to hear of greater developments in the near future from my supplier, the original creator of the i-Smartphone turbo sim unlock card.
