Anyways, here is the tracking number for the package (DHL), I anticipate it's arrival on Saturday and will do some extensive testing on both Canadian (rogers) and American (AT&T) iPhones with 2.2 baseband and firmware. As I have said before, the new coding in this chip was finalized on December 17th and only hours before I placed an order... so this may actually be one of the first lots to reach general consumers!

I have to agree with ZF regarding the large number of 'scams and spam' etc, so I will justify the efficacy of this new sim proxy with EVIDENCE on its reliability. I am also sick of spam, that is why I waited over 2 weeks before there was a significant improvement made to the proxy before I would offer it to people who may be dissatisfied with its quality.

Sure, I will admit that I am trying to make some money out of the whole iPhone unlocking 'game' (that is why I eBay), but I am ALSO trying to benefit the hacking community, particularly the thousands of people who have accidentally updated to 2.2. I am actually going to upgrade my 2.1 to 2.2 for the sake of experimentation, and to fully test the reliability of this solution on the new baseband.

i just got my i-smartphone v2.2 sim today from china as i order is for v2.2. it come with a black packing and a hologram sticker with serial number on top, check this on website found is genuine, then i try put in to my iphone 3g v2.2 baseband 02.28, but it show a while for the telco name then it go to no service. i have try with another sim card , but it show the same result "no service" i have try 64k, 128k sim card tested with more then 5 sim card, all same result. this to confirm that i-smartphone sim solution not work with iphone 3g v2.2. below is the sim and version i tested

iphone 3g 8GB Black (Lock to Australia)
Network : Malaysia Maxis, Digi, Celcom
SIM Card Tested : 64k, 128k

I have the same problem with I-smartphone SIM proxy.
Just received them today, in black pack with serial number.

actually they unlock the phone, even can make 1 call. After 10 sec phone goes No Service.

I contacted I-smartphone team - they said will contact engineers and still have no reply.

Alright alright guys enough fighting. There is only one way to solve this igun for fun. Provide the technical details behine the unlock as ZF said. As for ZF, i know you hav been a mod for way longer than me and and your on the highly respected dev team howvere you really didnt have to come so hard at his neck. All you really would have had to said is show the proof. AS for people not beliving you igun, you really cant blame us becasue as mod we see a lot of scam, spam etc. Also dev team has made the iphone hack scene what it is so people are more inclined to belive them or geohotz more than there are inclined to belive other parties. Besides its the holidays guys chill and have some eggnog

i-smartphone team promised to change this cards for free, as they admit they are not usable with 2,2. The problem is not stable network.

now i-smartphone engineers working on solution, and they promise accomplish new firmware in 10 days.

that's the news for now.

I received 100 pieces of the the i-Smartphone 2.2 that works with 2.28 baseband; I could make phone calls from a Rogers iPhone with 2.2 firmware/ 2.28 baseband using a Fido sim card + i-Smartphone 2.2 sim proxy.

The package is black and the card says 'i-smartphone' and 'iphone 3g' on the sim proxy itself. I am going to ship a few out to customers and see how they like it.
