Im sure the dev team will update their pwnage tool so that we can skip the baseband update. They do it every time, so unless your an idiot you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

And hopefully by then we will have an actual software unlock.

It is not even 100% definitive that a new firmware is being released OR whether that new firmware will modify the baseband at all.

The 2.1 Firmware update did not modify baseband now, did it?
