Default [iPhone 3G] Best Sim Cloning solution??

Hey guys,

from your own experiences and tries which simcloning solution would you recommend to someone who just wants an iPhone 3G to work with a carrier other than AT&T without utilizing the 3G function. (just for voice or text communication). Which sim cloning solution does not drop calls or rarely drops calls, gets decent reception and voice quality compared to cheaper brands and names?? Also where is the best place to obtain one? I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!

I don't have one yet, but according to the sticky (I understand it's a pain to read, took me like 4 hours lol) VirginSim is the best. Ebay (seller isimcom) is the only place you can currently get it. Pretty good price though IMO. (I just paid $7.50 shipped for one from hong kong)

Ive tried the following... in the following order as well..

YesSIM
My friend is using this. Its been working for 3+ weeks.

i-Smartphone 3G
Worked for 30 minutes. (Worked flawlessly for 30 minutes, but only 30 minutes)

Q-SIM from i-Smartphone2008 (i-Smartphone 3G replacement)
Worked for 3 hours. Then No SIM error.

Gevey-3G
Didnt work outta the box.

Virgin-SIM Normal

Working perfectly. Traveled over 20 km, 2 ways. Lol. Changing towers perfectly, running outta coverage for like 5-8 seconds, but coming back well.

Virgin-SIM Fast
Working perfectly. Traveled over 20 km, 2 ways again. Lol. Changing towers perfectly, never running outta coverage. not even at the places the Normal ran out of coverage.

I vote for Virgin-SIM's. Best solution.

^^ EDGE does NOT Work. Even with Data Roaming enabled.
(It works with his SIM in another phone, namely N96)

An iPhone without Internet, is not an iPhone. Its just a Phone! . Ok, that sounded lame.

So, I wouldn't recommend YesSIM.
Still testing Virgin SIM, but preliminary results are brilliant. I think we have a winner. Although, Im not sure whatll happen when the next round of updates comes along.

I will also vouch for virgin sim. Been using it since the 3rd, so it being the 24th, that would make it exactly 3 weeks with no real problems. Works great!
