Hi Virgin-Sim,

I just checked my ebay log and I ordered it on 25th oct. So i guess it must have been the modified normal speed one but strange why it would not work for me...

Many thanks for sending out another set which would have the high speed one also. Once recieved I will test both sets and post feedback about how well they work here in uk with the 3 network.

Would you require any more info from me?

Thanks

Hello virgin-sim
I've sent you an email and a pm but I didn't get an answer. Did you receive them?
Anyway... :p
I want to buy a set of a normal and a high speed virgin sim for my 16gb white iphone 3g. I'm from cyprus. We have two networks here, Cyta (the largest and oldest one) and MTN (new and smaller with not as many subscribers as CYTA). I'd also like to be a tester for your cards in Cyprus if you'd like that too.
Can you please give me some more info?
Thanks a lot
PS. I'm not an ebay member so getting buying the set through ebay is not possible. :/

I've contacted with my seller, he told me he would ship new sim cards yesterday.

thx

Default it works!

Just received the normal speed Virgin SIM yesterday ordered from e-bay (for around $8). It works, terrific! Finally I have 3G connection on my iphone, no problems so far. YouTube, internet radio on the go - everything works smooth.

I used Gevey sim before (both with AT&T pay as you go SIM and in Russia), it did the job well, but lack of 3G was frustrating.

My location: Russia, Ekaterinburg
Provider: MTS
Firmware: 2.1

Let's see how upcoming 2.2 will affect Virgin SIM's performance..

Hi All,

Due to a lot of Normal Speed Virginsim users requests, we have decided to continue to give out free High Speed Virginsim to every Normal Speed buyers until we have gather sufficient data to improve our High Speed Virginsim's compatibility. We need failure stories as well as sucessful stories so that we can improve.

Actually it is fun to try something really fast in network search, provided it is compatiable with your sim card.

Go to youtube & search for VirginSim , see it yourself & have fun with your iPhone.

I've sent you 2 or 3 emails and pms asking for more info about buying or testing the virgin sim. I've also posted a message in that thread asking for more info etc and still no answer from you. Not very reliable for someone who claims to have the best iphone unlocking solution
Sorry ^o/

Unfortunately, I have to report a change in my virginsim behavior.. VirgimSim stopped working after a couple of days: internet connection icon disappeared from the screen, after reboot I saw "No Service" message for about a day. Next morning I got signal and was able to make calls, but with no data. Right now I do not have internet and cannot accept _incoming_ calls. I tried changing apn settings, triggering 3g/data roaming options, no luck.

Meanwhile, I had to rollback to Gevey Sim which still works as before (edge only, no 3g, though). That is a bit frustrating. Any suggestions?
