Yes, it looks very promising.

I apologise to everyone regarding my "disappearance" from the SIM Hack threads these past several weeks.

I left London in the middle of August, was working full-time (like 12 hour days most of the week) in September.

I finally have a bit of a breather now to reflect.

I appreciate all the samples and feedback. However I would like to officially announce my "retirement" from the SIM Hack testing/etc.

It remains my belief that these SIM Hacks are a temporary solution. It has been over 3 months and I almost totally gave up on any software unlock.

But truly, of all the Dev Team posts on their blog since July 11th, I believe their most recent is really, one of *the most significant* since the jailbreak/activation announcement.

All the best Dev Team, and what can I say, you all keep proving everybody wrong. Now let's finish this unlock once and for all!

I have the same problem with Universal sim, but I brought the Virgin-sim from ebay 2 weeks ago, tested for 5 days now, the Normal Speed is quite fast in network search, but the High speed VirginSim even amaze me, it got signal right after iPhone booted up ! I prefer the High Speed VirginSim better, it work like an original iPhone.

With Hutchison 3G network in Hong kong, I got 1.25Mbp surf speed from www.2wire.com, (click speed meter on the top for speed test) which is very good because my 8Mbp internet service only give me 2.5Mbp speed. I shall unload an photo later tonite.

I vote for Virgin-sim high speed the best *sim I have ever tried.

alought tthe software unlock solution might come out one day,I am not sure how soon the software unlock will ever come out from what I read in some forums, the 3G inferion chip set (forgot how to spell)baseband is not a old products like 2G inferion , 2G inferion chip set was available some time & a lot of mobile phones designing house also knew what is inside the chipset & is quite open already. That is way it take so long for the DEV Team to figure out how the 3G chipset work.

So far I am very happy with the Virginsim High speed ( a trail version), I shall keep on using it until a reliable software unlock is out.I do not want my iphone get killed!

Is it because you installed some memory-intense programs(ex: winterboard)?

I think I have this problem, too...without pwning. Only a few more apps - three full pages incl. standardapps....But what should I expect? The more apps, the lesser speed...

@nipun_niel: It should be working with all sims, but I would say you have to try it - in addition there is a money-back guarantee i think.
