After my horrible experience with the old universal sim design, I was really impressed with the virgin sim, the one I'm testing right now, in terms of design. No cutting, no glueing, no sanding, no scotch, no nothing. I really think he is up to something. It's too early to comment on the software.

The praise for universal sim is the software on it, not its design.

I can tell that the Gevey 3G will require tape on the bottom from the pictures they have on their site. It's totally soft. The connectors will bend it. On some sites, it actually shows you to use tape.

Have they sold you the secret on how to get iTunes to sync as well, or are they telling you to jailbreak it to get iTunes to work?

Its only been working since 9/13... 17 days? I wouldnt be selling my 2G just yet. you should wait a couple months. What happens when in another week or 2 it stops working? Your screwed. 2 weeks is not enough time to make a final PASS verdict. Im not trying to be a pessimist but I just would be careful.

Well, I do remember reading something about an iTunes hack to get it to sync, but I don't remember where. It would be a shame to have to jail break it in order to sync.

There are no links. There is nothing there. I went to your main site and saw unlocking and jail breaking methods for the old iPhone. I did not see any iTunes hacks.

You do need to jailbreak in order to replace the activated lockdown into that directory.

Anyway, just build an activated custom firmware and restore your iPhone.
Or use quickpwn to jailbreak and activate. There is no harm to your iPhone.

Back then, I forgot to activate it, that's why I got the problem. What a shame!! lolz!
You reminded me about that activated file couple week ago. Thanks again.

By the way, Universal sim does have non cut version. I'll let you know how it is in couple of days.

I bet you guys want to see this from U.S. T-mobile.

I turn on 3G, and that was what I got.
I did surf the web a lot faster.
The thing is I am in San Diego, but the server was in WA.
3G icon, of courses wasn't showing.

Okay, I did e-mail my sender and he/she replied back and confirmed that I will be getting the black one. So hopefully this will work.

why dont you want to jailbreak Spooky? There is zero reason not to.

otherwise you have to turn on airplane mode everytime you want to sync, waste of time, and you might have to reboot the phone after turning airplane mode off to get signal again
