turbosim is not fully transparent regarding 3G access
. turbosim with empty turbohandler together with official SIM gives a "restricted network" message, 3G access is not possible.So first, we probably need a turbosim kernel update. |

Yes, here i am with my name. I am not hide because i dont have any reason to hide. Post here details how i cheat ppl and do not hide with nickname, say who are you so i know to who i talk.
About universal sim, my target is not iPhone 3G customers. I hope Dev Team will come soon with software solution for it. All i want to show here is that we have solution, it is working and credits go to us for Iphone 3G unlocking SIM solution. I am not crazy for customers, like yessim or rebelsim (old alpha x sim) who have incomplete solution, selling as full working, read respective web sites and see what they sell then come here and tell me again i am cheater Let us see reports from users who have iPhone 3G and universal-sim. All they need to do is to contact me in private to give them special software (we didnt released yet because old hardware of universal sim can damage your iPhone 3G). We care about our customer satisfaction. Quote:

@deco:
void turbo_handler (u8 action, void *data) { } 3G (official card) does not work with this. There is no really pass through. :hack: @Manole: You can safely PM-send the method how you could circumvent the IMSI check to - deco - Zf - me As you like. deco and Zf would not publish it, I'm sure. I won't do either. And if you read carefully, even if we would implement it for TurboSIM, it won't work at the moment for 3G. So your business isn't touched . And even if it works sometime, TurboSIM is pretty much compared to other SIM solutions.regards, caique2001 |

Universal-SIM published their software.
http://www.universal-sim.org/?page_id=87 There are some points that sound bad, e.g. "roaming must be enabled" . Sounds like another implementation of ZeroG. If the network login is done with the correct IMSI, there is no need for roaming.

so what is the best solution right now... Is there anything out there that can just give you incoming and outgoing calls and texts? For the time being until a software unlock, that's all I really need. I just hate having my iphone collect dust while using a pos phone...
i guess most of it is my fault for being impatient

no doubt ,it's unreliable but losing signal once or maybe twice a week is not to bad ,just make sure you have your old cellphone with you or close to you ,it comes in handy to regain signal from your sim.
