nvidia2008, Lost Soul™, unlockcellular, Zf_ and deco, you seem to be the most active posters in this thread and some of you are even official testers. Could any of you share with the rest what your opinionis??? Since this thread got started, I understand that there have been several changes/releases (major and minor) and what possibily didn't work a couple of weeks back, now does work... this goes a little bit in direction of what Lost Soul suggested as well regarding data gathering... again, don't think me rude it's just that I don't seem to be able to get the big picture and what mrhex mentioned earlier today suggests that Universal SIM could be the one we are after... what do you guys think? a big bunch of thanks in advance, Marc |

Take the two bottom screws out of the phone and use a suction cup to pull the bottom of the screen out CAREFULLY. Make sure you don't disconnect any cables and if you do, plug them back in when you are finished. When the phone is apart, you should see the tray. PM me if you have any questions, as this isn't the right thread for this question. Thanks.

I've had TornadoSIM for almost 2 weeks now with the only issue is when I go into a No Service area, I have to restart my phone when I'm back in a Service area to pick up the signal.
About 3 days ago, I noticed my EDGE signal had dropped off. I tried everything from restarting multiple times to changing the APN settings to re-Pwning my 3G. Nothing worked. T-Mobile said I had the correct plan reflected in my account as I switched from the Sidekick plan to the Total Internet Plan. I finally swapped the SIM card without TornadoSIM into an unlocked 2G iPhone. EDGE picked up, then I took out my SIM, attached TornadoSIM and inserted back into the 3G. EDGE came back! Hopefully this is a one time occurrence. On another note, when I'm at work at the bottom floor, I get No Service due to building interference, but when I go to the upper floors, where there is signal, I don't have to restart to get signal again. I will continue to observe the TornadoSIM behaviors. |

so, after reading all 36 pages and hopefully understanding the most important things, thank you for your sacrifices
I'm not an analyzer, but i can read your posts the whole day, but now i have a question to you Lost Soul:You live in germany and are still testing the Stealthsim se? Your carrier is vodafone de? I see the status in your signature, so i wondered if you are still testing and the status is up-to-date - logically i would think the testing ended, because you use the tornadoSIM today...just wondering... So how long did you use the Stealthsim without any problems (data excluded)? Thank you and just my 2 cents
