http://www.gsmhosting.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=467 Also you can find info for 'how to' in web page: www.universal-sim.org But you have to know this universal-sim i sent it to you it is not working for 3G and EDGE. The idea was to show there is no sim atm in market with this solution, right? You can do test and report. And now i have ready solution, full tested because we never release something if we not fully test, i will send you new universal-sim ready programmed for iPhone 3G ![]() Also will make live demo for user iphone2 here in Hong Kong. ![]() Edited Zf_ - No you didn't forget, this thread isn't there to advertise your polish blog, but to discuss technical information in english. Since those are your first two posts, consider this a warning Last edited by Zf_; 08-08-2008 at 08:09 AM. Reason: omg spam |

That proves nothing. Feel free to send us samples for independant testing. Although, once again - it's very unlikely that yours do actually work.

Ah so I am in holiday in Benelux for the next several days... Looks like we will have to let the x-sim stuff settle a bit, it looks really crazy, but yes, to all, as mattmartincouk says, samples are the best way for us to verify what is going on, and to share this with the community most likely to purchase and recommend your products.
There are also more detailed testing procedures which we are not doing yet because the x-sim solutions don't seem to be stable enough to go to the next stage of the testing. However, between deco, mattmartin and myself, we will cover several geographic areas. Deco I believe is in South America, matt is in the UK, and I will be in South East Asia in several weeks time, I plan to be there for several months at least. To those coming from the mobile phone industry and not so much the Mac sales scene, Apple users have very high standards of expecting things to "just work". They are willing to pay a premium price (though Macs in the long run are usually cheaper in some cases to own than a PC), if it does the job, just work, and we are able to get on with our other life/work activities. From my perspective, here's the summary~ Yessim: As I am travelling around a bit, don't worry about sending me the USB cable for now Manole/UniversalSim: Let us know when you feel your 3G solution is ready (don't send me samples yet until a few weeks when I have left the UK, I will give you my new Asia address) StealthSim: Any status on the samples? RebelSim: Updates? |

So, with gained access and incoming calls - you must have provided your correct IMSI to the provider. How can a provider bind a phone number to the test IMSI?? No way! From the logging point of view, if you just catch one IMSI request from the ME, you _most_ _probably_ miss the one who requests the correct IMSI. Furthermore from a SIM-PE communication / Bladox point of view, this is probably because you just registered EFIMSI with the full path. So what happens if the ME requests only with "0x6F, 0x07" instead of "0x3F, 0x00, 0x7F, 0x20, 0x6F, 0x07"? I think in this case the call isn't catched. (As well in case "0x7F, 0x20, 0x6F, 0x07".) regards, caique2001 /***********************************************/ u8 PROGMEM ef_imsi_path2[] = { 0x7F, 0x20, 0x6F, 0x07 }; u8 PROGMEM ef_imsi_path1[] = { 0x6F, 0x07 }; ... reg_file (ef_imsi_path2, 2); reg_file (ef_imsi_path1, 1); ...
