I think its 5.40 now. The update came out a day or two after I ordered mine. Im waiting on a card reader so I can update it. Hopefully it will stay alive till then.

If your ordered a day or two before the update came out, you should have the old one I think.
Make sure you run AT+CIMI in minicom. If you get the first 5 with 00101, don't use it yet. You need to update. |

I did mention that you have to sand this tornadosim right .. ?
the new one coming is very thin.. or as thin as possible ![]() also, if you search my initial post when zf templated me for being clone, I responded by saying that tornadosim is NOT clone and totally different ... I guess the dump proof it ... for what is worth, I test tornadosim+2.01 all over atlanta for 7 days with no problem. I upgraded to 2.02 2 days ago and so far so good

I'm just a user of these Sims solution. So far the best result for me is using i-Smartphone sim solution. Everything working. No need to cut sim card. Free sim tray (not OEM, but nonetheless usable). Re-Catches network when its loss in some area.
Note: I've also tested TurboSim, StealthSim, 3G Sim that looks like Yessim (dono if its the same), and finally i-Smartphone. i-Smartphone works the best for me so far. |

If I read the first post correctly when using a *sim the phone asks for your IMSI the *sim feeds it a fake IMSI and the phone never asks for it again and feeds that fake IMSI to the network.
If this is the case when I dial #225# for my bill info I shouldn't get anything or an error or something right? Becouse I get my info, does this mean the phone requests the IMSI again from the sim? If so wouldn't it save that or would it just dump that and continue using the same IMSI from the original request? For bill info doesn't it need all the correct didgets from your IMSI? |

If it didnt, you wouldnt get on to the network in the first place - which is how you get your billed info. |
