Hi, StealthSIM summary so far.
1. I have not been able to try 3G so far, or properly try EDGE. However, here is the example of general working condition, but my experience is: See This Scan: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/nvidia...81479050582754 ![]() The *TOP* kind of SIM seems to NOT be able to work. However, the *BOTTOM* kind of SIM, that is, the newer, bigger gold pad style, seems to have SUCCESS with StealthSIM. Of course, all the warnings we have mentioned apply. Again, for me, it appears that StealthSIM has promise for out-of-the-box use, while UniversalSIM may also be useful as Lost Soul mentions. Last edited by nvidia2008; 08-26-2008 at 07:40 PM. |

I once had working GPS using the Universal Sim, but i think it's unimportand which *sim i used. It disapeared faster then i moved 10 meter to test it. I'm still into analyzing it, but that's very hard if you can't get an GPS connection... |

I'm testing Universal SIM on two brazilian carriers, Claro and TIM. On Claro I can see the 3G icon, but on TIM I can't see the 3G or Edge icons, and it won't browse the internet, unless I connect to the wireless network.
I can make and receive calls, and also send and receive SMS. Trying to figure out what's the problem with the 3G icon on TIM. First day of testing. |
