@spec, itunes wont work with different simcard. as soon as you put in original registered simcard it will work again.

i got EDGE re-activated and Data is not working, confirmed this by using the same sim in my 2G and other phones.

other than that really good service..

I am going to update the FuriouSiM via the software and writer/reader i got from them.

i tunes sees my iphone 3G with FuriouSim just fine, no errors

Yes, my Tmobile sim I believe it is an old one, but not really different from a new one though, just have different picture on it..

Here in US, we only have 2 GSM carriers now AT&T and T-Mobile. The iphone 3G is working perfectly with AT&T prepaid sim card without hacking or unlocking. But AT&T will spot your iPhone 3G and force you to add that $30 3G service (I read somewhere)

The problem Im not sure if I get scammed on Ebay. Because on the sims said "www.sim.bz" instead of "universal-sim.com"

I just bought another real Universal Sim with the iso smartcard reader from a seller in Canada. Will post result back when I get it, and also will try to update these so called Universal Sims I have right now to see if they work or not...

Seriously, we need some tester in the US to make sure all the sims work globally, not just Europe or ASIA, so buyers wont get into trouble.. (Just a thought)

I really think is fairly important for everyone evaluating those SIM pigbacks solutions to cruise around the town with the iPhone and not only counting time of available service at office or home.
You guys might reach to useful conclusions quite faster.

Please let us know, because im plannig on getting either a furiousim or a universal sim, since are the ones that look like they are working.

it's very interesting to see how the producers of availible *SIM-Cards try to improve their firmware. Yessim even promised in their support forum to send some replacement SIM Trays!

Yesterday Yessim announced a new firmware, as they promise, don't fake the IMSI... Can't really believe that...
And today the sister-card FurioSim: Homepage is down... Log-In needed! The only thing you can read... FurioSim 2.0 is coming.

And then we have the "new" ones, Universal Sim, StealthSim and the announcement of "Hypersim"... First one, seems to be not so good in testing like I hoped, any updates here?
StealthSim can be bought here in germany with a slimmer simtray, this one is not updatable, or?
And Hypersim will be released end of august...

I just wonder why the dev-team is so calm, FW 2.0.2 is released and still no comment, unless the one in cydia. I think they are working really hard... :hack:
And with the quickpwn, pwnage and hopefully 3G Unlock those guys have min. 3 diffrent projects running... respect!

How is your opinion about the signal loses, and interupted calls? Some *SIM developers state that it's a baseband failure, not the *Sim-Card. But no one, hoping for a SW Unlock, will ever update the baseband... Are there any experiences with new baseband FW Versions (>1.45.00) and those *SIM Cards? Especially from people who had problems on 1.45.00 and than upgraded? And no, i won't sacrifice my 3G for such a test...

Hi I think with the T-mobile problems, for example, is to do with 128k (or something like that) SIM cards (looks like more rounded gold part edges) compared to a proper 3G 256k SIM card or something like that.

From my personal review, I believe your best chance, if you want to try it, you have been warned of the consequences, is to try a StealthSIM or UniversalSIM.

StealthSIM AFAIK is not designed to be straight away user programmable whereas UniversalSIM is.

This does not necessarily mean one is better than the other, IMO.

This is not a product endorsement as such, it is just what I think will give you a chance of at least several days signal. Beyond that, it is hard to say for everyone, honestly.

However for me about a week now with StealthSIM I have 2G basic call and SMS. I now need to find a proper 3G prepaid network SIM card in Malaysia... to be able to begin tesing the 3G properly.

The thing is, the network SIM card that you are using can make a difference. If it looks "old" like a more rounded edge of the gold pad, maybe it won't work?

Anyway, that is my summary of things at this stage.
