I also received my StealthSim and Universal Sim samples today and will start with StealthSim. (It was the first one to come)
I started testing at 11:15 today and with 45 minutes of usage: T-mobile USA: Calls - In/out - working Texts - In/out - working I have had good signal strength so far, no dropping. - I do not have data as of now but will get it within a week. Just a side note, iTunes is working with the phone, but it's kind of acting weird. It's not giving me any options on the iphone tab, but I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

I used the included USB reader and the update file from Univeral Sim, yes... Works pretty well. Also i used the recommended settings of their page. Let's see how long it lasts.
Btw, the SIM Tools are gone after updating to v500 (like a, c, v, ..). |

@mrhex
Yes, I'm using the theiphonewiki tutorial. Also I updated there the "Stuck in No Service after a period" section, wich is vital if using this method. It's the only way to recover signal after changing base station cell. |

@baalbeck,
spoonet will try it today, let's see how it goes. His carrier is TIM. @Lost Soul, Have you tried refreshing all settings? I think StealthSIM SE is too expensive for little warranty, if it works perfectly, 100% between cells, 3G and Edge, it will be worth it, otherwise it will be just a big waste of money. Have you seen if it spoofs IMSI? |

Ok after testing StealthSim for about 3 hours everything is working fine, but putting the phone into airplane mode and taking it out will give you and invalid sim, every time. A simple reboot will get the service up again.
I have done conference calls, received 5 or 6 incoming calls, and have had numerous text conversations all working fine as of now. Ill post updates in 48 hours if all is well inbetween then. Hopefully you won't hear from me.

Imsi=001010000000000 The Stealth one uses: Imsi=001012550013464 Incoming/Outgoing Calls are fine atm, sms too... GPRS works too, but 3G and GPS (i guess the GPS problem lays somewhere else) doesnt. |

What is the layout of the T-mobile SIM card? If you look at it, does it look more "old fashioned", then say an AT&T sim?
I suggest testing with a simple AT&T prepaid (if your iPhone is not from the USA) or another carrier's prepaid sim. ![]() If you could let us know, that would be good, maybe before you return all the Universal SIMs for the refund. Yeah, most of the testing right now, we have seen reports from UK, Europe, Asia. I am currently in Malaysia, Hotlink(Maxis) prepaid does not work with StealthSIM since the SIM card has a different gold pad compared to say, O2 UK. However my O2 UK picks up the local roaming signal when I am using my AT&T locked iPhone3G with an O2 sim and StealthSIM. Quote:
