When i try to choose a carrier manually, the phone doesnt get any signal and i get the message "the network signal was lost", just after manually selecting the proper carrier.

I have tried programming the furiousim with the last available firmware (2.4 beta), patch count 1 and 30 i have tried to put the MCC+MNC of at&t network (31038) also tried with universal MCC+MNC (00101), but none of that worked, i tried all combinations. I am still without using my new iPhone 3G

If you read my last post you can see i am from Spain and i tested the USA at&t locked iphone 3G with Movistar Spain and Orange Spain providers.

Both providers have 2G and 3G networks, i cannot connect to any of them, even trying all possible combinations with the furiousim/yessim.

Regards

Guys,

First you need to understand how it work for you to try stuff out.

Stop by #X-Sim channel on irc.osx86.hu so we can all share experiences.

I'm running some tests here and some theories as well.

When I have some tangible results I will post.

HAve fun!

I already replied to you. You need to do a small modification on the hardware to avoid network problems and make it compatible with iPhone 3G. Now all the FuriouSim we are sending to customers are already compatible with iPhone 3G. Simply drop me an email to sales@furiousim.com then i will explain you what to do

Best regards,
Steve.

Exclamation YesSim

Ok folks,

This Yessim is nothing more than the cheap HyperSims, X-Sims..etc that were used to unlock version 1.1.2 bootloader 4.6 back in the day. Not only did I have several of these lying around, I also used a Bladdox TurboSim and a T-Mobile SIM card on a new 3G 16GB iphone and a previous generation 4GB iphone with firmware 2.0..the conclusion..don't waste your time or money.

On the 3G iphone, in the upper left corner where the network is displayed..it scrolls "invalid SIM" and deactivates itself to the emergency call only screen. Ditto for the 4GB model.

I've seen this same ad displayed on modmyifone.com. Also people, don't use iphoneunlock.uk or any of those other people claiming they have an unlock solution for the 3G iphone..THEY DON'T. They sell you freeware such as iLiberty+ and pwnage for 40-50 bucks. After you pay for the software, it takes you to a screen that tells you not to update..an unlock is coming soon.

Wait for the people like Zibri or the dev team to come out with something. No one wants more than me to unlock my 3G iphone and cancel my contract with ATT, but until a solution comes out, these people are raking in the bucks scamming people like you.

I'm sure you're aware that Zibri has all but nearly given up on moving forward with ZiPhone - if you read his blog.

He is all for 2.0, Appstore etc.

Which is, off course, just a decoy to avoid admitting his final and total fail, as you've probably already realized

</off course>
