Whilst browsing through tesco's it suddenly occured to me, that the UK must boast so many different mobile operator's that maybe, just maybe, one of the smaller suppliers, may still be using V1 SIMs. For example, tesco were selling a standard SIM pack as well as a VALUE Sim Pack, Whats the difference (apart from call cahrges). There was Fresh SIMS from the Car Phone warehouse, and Virgin Sims. There are so many....

Maybe a list in this thread can start ruling them out once and for al
