Have you tried replacing the stars in r*p*d*h*r*.com with "a i s a e"?

I used iActivator 1.1.4 and it worked with the cloned sim
Calls recieving/out
sms recieving/out
edge not really but gprs
no you tube ;-((

I am in the netherlands T Mobile
Even conference call works ;-))

Those steps were written for the Windows Version, if you are using a MAC then the steps are slightly different. As someone mentioned here, you might want to use Iactivator ,much easier...
