Well i as well have an otb 1.1.2 iphone wich i really whant to use with my t-mobile
well since there is no soft unlock i found out that there is a cheaper solution like sonicsim wich its cheaper than turbosim or stealthsim anyways i saw this on youtube

Sorry, it's not going to work. I bought the same stuff from ebay only to find that the youtube video is a lie. He put a alternate sim into an already unlocked iPhone to boost sales. I am now the proud owner of a magicsim and reader (they only cost me like $5 though, so whatever). I eventually bought a Stealthsim and it worked perfectly the first time.

Think about a Stealthsim...it's worth it.

well i got it and does not work contacted seller and he is a scam told i need to program the card before .
hE SAID I NEED a serial sim card reader writer,but i cant find any there all usb on ebay.
does the usb work the same? where can i fint a serial version?

hell yeh he tripled the price and it won't work for sure.. if this is the magicsim/sonicsim that was in the other thread with +39 pages of failed attempts to extract the KI from the one sim

Read that thread through before you make such wildly inaccurate claims.

Extracting the KI has nothing to do with the failure of the MagicSIM because you extract it from your OWN SIM card. Assuming that it is a V1 COMP card, you should have no problems using tools linked to on this forum.

The MagicSIM solution is not working because no one knows how to reprogram it so it behaves like the TurboSIM and all the other *SIM clones out there ie. ICCID/IMSI timing. You can buy a Hypercard for ~$5 off eBay but that, like the MagicSIM, is unprogrammed and is useless. Only the ones that have been modified for the iPhone are worth $$.

With the right expertise and equipment I would think this product can be converted to an sim solution for the iPhone. That kind of knowledge and skills either do not exist in this community or there is no interest because the Silvercard/SuperSIM method, albeit it quite illegal in most countries, already exists and proven to work.

So if someone has figured out how to reprogram the MagicSIM and is making money off that work what is the problem? That thread you refer to contains a transcript of a conversation with a MagicSIM sales rep. He seemed to be interested in what his product could do and I would not be surprised if he followed up on that.

As long as the product works, they can ask for whatever they wish. The customer is then free to choose whether to pay or not.

so what do u guys recomand me to do just charge back the guy from paypal and
just wait for the unlock or buy a stealthsim?

Whatever your card is called, if it is unprogrammed then it is worth nothing more than $5! That's roughly how much you can buy a 15th MagicSIM and other dual sim adapters for on eBay. By unprogrammed I mean NOT plug and play.

I would try to get your money back right away if thats the case.

Waiting for unlock or buy stealthsim: how soon do you want to use your iphone? If an software unlock exists, it could be weeks before its tried and tested. Who knows.

Hypercards/SIMS can be updated to potentially still work with a future Apple update but you have to send them back to Taiwan to reprogram and it will cost money, unknown how much as of yet. Besides that, Bladox TurboSIMS seem to be the only other SIM that promise to be futureproof but they are very expensive to buy off eBay.

ALL that is assuming Apple doesn't close the SIM checking bug altogether. Which might happen since 1.1.3 is not officially released yet so people can only speculate.
