Just wanted to pop in here and say, thank you.
Fantastic and flawless guide. I came across one hiccup but, after shaving more of my SIM cards down and aligning the TurboSIM, everything worked. Without your help, my girlfriend would be a sad chica for Christmas. Thanks again. |

"12. put the original SIM supplied with the iPhone (not your own!) onto the TurboSim and carefully insert it into your iPhone"
Exactly how important is that? I have the TurboSIM and my SIM-card that I want to use after this process. I have done this to one iPhone already, and doing it on the 2nd now. The thing is this 2nd iPhone didn't come with a AT&T sim. It says "(not your own!)", but important is it? Will I make the TurboSIM break? Thanks in advanced. |

Hi all,
Thanks for the tutorial iMaso. I'm close, but I can't load applesaft.trb no matter what I try. On a jailbroken phone with the AT&T SIM+TurboSIM out, I unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist, insert my AT&T/TurboSIM, and then run turbo-info and it looks ok: # turbo-info initializing modem AT+CPMS="SM","SM" ERROR modem initiated OK. No Error However, turbo-app always fails with "ERROR: Bad file." I've tried rebooting and repeating various steps, but always get "Bad file". Here's my turbo-app output with -v. Any help greatly appreciated! # turbo-app -v /private/var/root/applesaft.trb SRC /private/var/root/applesaft.trb SIZE 2021 initializing modem 1 -> ATV1 1 <- ATV1 OK 1 -> ATE1 1 <- ATE1 OK 1 -> AT+CPMS="SM","SM" 1 <- AT+CPMS="SM","SM" +CPMS: 0,30,0,30,0,50 OK 1 -> AT+CMGF=0 1 <- AT+CMGF=0 OK 1 -> AT+CPMS? 1 <- AT+CPMS? +CPMS: "SM",0,30,"SM",0,30,"MT",0,50 OK modem initiated 1 -> AT+CMGW=10 1 <- AT+CMGW=10> 1 -> 029100110000810004FF020C00 1 <- 029100110000810004FF020C00 +CMGW: 21 OK 1 -> AT+CMGR=21 1 <- AT+CMGR=21 +CMGR: 2,,10 029100110000810004FF020C00 OK 1 -> AT+CMGD=21 1 <- AT+CMGD=21 OK ERROR: Bad File |
