At times I cant get incoming calls, no rings, no vibrate, nothing appears on my screen or gets registered as missed on or incoming call even with full bar of network signals.. The next thing i find out is a voicemail otherwise i wouldnt know if someone called and didnt leave a message. The caller hears my phone rings but on my phone it shows no one calling, its starts to get annoying. Sometimes it works perfectly fine and then randomly does it again. I can make outgoing calls and text fine but i did notice some delays in text messages too.

I had used a plist generator to create a custom carrier bundle. Carrier name... iPhone 3g, 3.1 , 4.26.08FW was jailbroken and unlocked with ultrasn0w. I had used a plist generator to create a custom carrier bundle. Carrier name showed, data network working - everything is golden.

Today, I updated from Cydia without looking to see what was updated, ultrasn0w updated. Carrier name now shows up in CAPITAL letters, unlike before. No Data services.

The APN settings are in the carrier data, from the custom bundle. Changes to the custom bundle show up.

1. Tried reinstalling custom carrier bundle - no change.
2. Restored to 3.1 custom ipsw (same one as before), and used ultraSn0w. same.
3. Tried massaging custom bundle. nothing seems to work.

Some clues: Under Settings, the carrier shows as PLATEAU, but settings-Carrier shows a list containing US PLATEAU.
When I use airplane mode, the carrier is "Plateau" from the png file from my custom carrier bundle for a short time, until I get service and it changes to PLATEAU.

Any ideas from anybody? I would like to get my data network back...

Anyone else having the same issue?

Just tried resetting network settings but won't be able to test it correctly till tomorrow cause I don't have other networks close by to test with.

Any feedback on this could be great.

When I got the phone, it was Jailbroken, and Ultrasn0w was already installed. Yet I still got "No Service". (i'm using tmobile btw)

This is what I tried:

1. Restored firmware to 3.0,which is what it was running when I got it
2. Jailbroke with Redsn0w
3. Reinstalled Ultrasn0w via Cydia

Still I get a "No Service" message.
I've tried airplane mode off and on, 3g off, rebooting, etc.

He purchased it relatively early so there are good chances that its bootloader is the 5.8 version.
How can I check this?

to unlock it, but this did'nt work so i downgraded to 3.0 and it's still not work and giving the no service error.
