then i got custom221.ipsw waiting , i load quickfreedom and says all is good , until trying to get into dfu mode,always shows ipod in recovery mode and never can start pre-jailbreak. i have been stuck here for 10 days now reading everything i can , i use my pc clock with seconds and like dfu instruction says on quickfreedom i try to hold down power and home quickly before plugging in ipod then waiting 10 seconds(i see the apple icon on the face of the ipod) then letting go of power and then holding home(now i see usb and arrow to itunes icon on face of ipod) it never turnes white or black) for 10 seconds or 30 seconds whatever i try so many times only with no success.

I exit it and... Okay, so I decide I want 3.1.2 on my jailbroken 3.0 ipod, I download blackra1n, but I forgot to upgrade to 3.1.2 before running it. I exit it and reset my ipod, leaving it in dfu mode. I try to do a normal restore, it gets to the bit where it prepares, and fails. I also tried downloading 3.1.2 and shift clicking restore, same problem. I also tried 3.0 firmware, same problem.
