Default Toshiba needs help. Dual boot

Hi everyone! I am so happy to have stumbled upon this site. I recently downloaded the kalyway 10.5.2 dvd image from a torrent and was introduced to the wonderful world of hackintosh.

SO on to the problem. I am trying to dual boot xp and Mac os. I have tried various tutorials to make this work such as DigitMemo.com Howto: The Complete Mac Leopard Installation and Windows Multi-Boot Setup Guide but to no avail. With the tutorial previously mentioned my computer gets hung up at 11 minutes on leopard install.

Right now I am trying to install the 10.5.2 clean on its own partition and it seems to be working (it got past the 11 min hang up...mustve been a problem with installing the tiger os first????). Problem is last time I tried this technique when the computer loaded after the grey screen it got stuck on this light blue screen?????

I am going to try the f8 -s tactic.....

ANyway I just wanted to know if anyone here could help me with this install. I have a toshiba satellite a205 s4607. 4g RAM 180G memory intel centrino duo

Do you need anymore info besides that? Any info at all would really be helpful. Thank you

    Hi ExD Odysseus,
I have a Toshiba a105 running leopard and xp =D...
Try to do what i did.
First of all you will need IPC 10.5.6 Final (note when you search, that is ppf5), with this, I can do work everything except of wifi.
Boot with IPC (if your toshiba restart, try f8 and cpus=1). There you have to make as many partition as you need. Then, restart and install windows with your toshiba dvd, or with you have.
Then, boot again with IPC and install the O.S.
If something fail, and you don't have dualbooting, i solve this with Ubuntu (is free, and you don't need to install it, you can boot with the cd)). There look for partition utility (i don't remember the name exactly) and choose both partition (windows and leopard) as first partition.

Sorry for my bad english, if you don't Understand, question me =D

Wonderful world my a$$, what good is a $300 Toshiba notebook after you've thrown the little bastard across the room because iAtkos still wont work after the 15th time installing, lol

As far as your problem goes: I think i ran into the same problem and i believe the cpus=1 fix did the trick....

just an FYI I found the iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 package to the best for install available for the Toshiba a205, 1280x720x32 resolution and all :-)

no wifi though but we're working on it :-/
