Problems w daul booting?
i completed my installation of ipc 10.5.6 restarted booted up my window 7 drive installed easybcd went through all the steps of adding gen osx and i restarted my computer went to my mac os and still get this message
boot1:startupfile_ and it stays right here please help thanks
note i have external hdd for my mac osx connected by usb

Hi,
You should not use BCD if you have external hard drive. Go to your window7, remove it and repair your window7 boot system if needed.
For dual boot, set your BIOS disk boot order to ext USB first, and then to internal hard drive.

i tryied i put windows boot cd went to command type bootrec /fixmbr and did fixboot went to setup in bios put usb external drive primary boot 1 i still getting same error
boot0:MBR
boot0:done
boot1:startupfile_
imma download something else with a newer chamleon or can i install a newer one through cmd windows7 terminal

1. Disconnect your USB OSX. Boot to win7, if can not then use your win7 disc to repair it until you can just boot to your win7 without problem.
2. Connect your USB, set BIOS to boot to it first and check/install Chameleon to the USB hard drive.
3. Set your boot disk order to ext USB first, internal hdd second.
