Need some serious help, laptop is unbootable.
A couple days ago I tried to install OSX Lion on my laptop (Alienware m11x). I was dual booting Linux (Backtrack 5) and Windows 7 at the time. Everything went fine, but when I installed chameleon, the bootloader stopped detecting my linux install, and when trying to boot windows gave me an bootmgr missing error. Trying to boot into the windows recovery however allowed me to boot into my normal windows.
I couldn't get anything working again so I decided to do a complete restart. When trying to boot from my linux or windows usb sticks, I keep getting a message about the OS missing. I was able to boot into the windows lion install HDD I made, then boot into Backtrack from there. Using backtrack I wiped the HDD and installed linux. After the restart I could boot into linux, but still could not boot into a windows usb stick or install windows.
I took my HDD out and completely formatted it hoping I could get it to work and now I'm stuck. I cannot boot into any boot discs (usb) and have no cd drive to try actual dvds. If I let the startup go, it gives me a grub rescue thing, and if I try to boot off usb it tells me the OS is missing. The only thing I can actually boot off of is this Lion install HDD.
How can I reinstall windows and or linux and get this running again so I can try and install snow Leopard or something properly. Any help would greatly be appreciated as I'm running out of ideas and my laptop is pretty much a brick right now.
