Is my CPU incompatible?

My Computer is based on an AMD Athlon II X4 620 Processor (2.59GHz).
I'm using Windows 7 as the host system.
My intention was to install MAC OSX in a Virtual Machine. (I tried VirtualBox and VMWare). The OSX image I used was iAtkos_v7.
In both virtual machines i didn't manage to get OSX working. I was able to install OSX but when trying to boot the system I keep getting error messages such as:

In VirtualBox:
Invalid front-side busfrequency 45Hz .
Disabling the CPU ...

or I get a kernelpanic, if I don't use the darwin_snow.iso when booting.

In VMWare
A virtual CPU has entered the shutdown state. This would have caused a physical machine to restart. This can be caused by an incorrect configuration of the virtual machine, a bug in the operating system or a problem in the VMware Workstation software. Press OK to restart the virtual machine or Cancel to power off the virtual machine.

or

The buslogic SCSI adapter is not supported for 64-bit guests in this release. Please consult the documentation for the appropriate type of SCSI adapter to use with 64-bit guests.
Failed to configure virtual device scsi0.

if I change the .vmx file entry for the guestOS to guestOS = "darwin-64"
This is probably because my CPU doesn't support 64 Bit?

If i try to set it to guestOS = "darwin-32" then I get the following error:
Guest operating system 'darwin-32' is not supported.
Please select a guest operating system from the General page on the Options tab of Virtual Machine Settings.

Does this mean, that OSX does not support 32 Bit Processors?


I would like to know, whether my CPU is incompatible, so that I probably should give up installing OSX on my PC or whether you have another idea of what I could try to make it work.

Rather than changing it to "darwin-32" change it to just "darwin" and that should help.
But I am not completly sure if you can get it to work with an AMD

The reason it doesnt work is because u have an amd cpu. AMD cpus are almost impossible to get working with os x(virtual machines ARE COMPLETELY impossible though) intel are the only cpus that work with os x, as they were they only ones used, except in the powerpc days. But those were 7 years ago.
