Migrate OS X system partition to new drive
Currently I've got a working dual boot system using chameleon and 4 partitions on 1 drive (1 OS X system partition, 1 HFS storage partition, 1 NTFS Windows 7 system partition, 1 FAT storage partition).
I want to move the OS X system partition to an SSD and use that instead when booting into OS X (SL)
Is this possible? and if so...how would I go about it!? Ideally I want to clone the existing partition (its only 60GB and I plan on getting a 64GB SSD).
Thanks in advance!
use and external device to backup your system thru timemachine
then using the installation disk boot up and under Utilities click on restore from time machine backup
After that you may have to reinstall the bootloader to get everything happy again
