Dual Boot Vista and Mac - all tricks failed
Hi and Hello,
Well I'm a nooby in whole hackintosh staff. That's why I need you guide in dual booting Vista and Mac OS X (Leo4All v4). Vista and Mac are installed on the one disc. One partition for Vista and another for Mac. I tryed the TJ2K7 trick (http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/369725-post2.htm) it failed. I try to add chain0 to vista boot loader, by CMD commends:
Code:
bcdedit /copy {current} /d “Mac OS X”
bcdedit /enum active
bcdedit /set {GUID} PATH \chain0
*Were “{GUID}” is new boot ID. It failed. Both ways ends booting Vista, not Mac. I even try to replace vista boot with XP boot. That failed too, but this time nothing did boot. Please, help me I'm working on it more than week for now on. I thing I’ve read most of guides how to do it.
Sorry for my English.

My BIOS lets me boot different partitions and disks if i tap F12 or whatever your specific BIOS requires to select boot devices, it might not work however because Mac and win use different drive formats..
..however it would be simplest if you installed mac & win on different hard drives..its inexpensive and will solve the boot issue, this was my preferred choice...Its just not worth the hassle having 2 partitions really
**Remember** Buy a legit copy of macos regardless -- support Apple and its developers!**
