Default where distributions are available for download

I'm new here. I'm lost because I don't found distributions for download in this forum. Where I can download the distributions and guide for beginners?

    Thanks.

I am also new here, but from what I can work out you need to find out which distro will suit your PC and then search for a torrent of it and download using the bittorrent software.

My response won't be a huge help but here goes...

That's pretty much right, your best bet is to find one you are interested in attempting to install and Google it, then try to find a good torrent and start downloading it that way.

There are some sites that post off-site links where they've uploaded to like Rapidshare or MegaUpload. But I think you stand just as good a chance of using a torrent as you do downloading from one of those sites.

Personally, I think the iDeneb version(s) are better and seem to work for me the best but that might be because of the hardware that I have. The versions that I've heard of are iAtkos, iPC, iDeneb and Leo4All. I'm pretty sure there are a few more that I haven't heard of, so read around.

A word of advice is before you wipe your hard drive (if you have Windows already installed) is to run something like Everest and take a note of what your hardware is. It will help you a lot when you get to the customize part of the install.
