    Default What distribution to use on Asus L5831P

    Hi,

    I first tried installing OSX86 by myself using some tutorials i found here, but no luck.

    This is my notebook:

    ASUS L5 L5831P
    - P4 2.8 GHz - chipset: SiS648
    - 512MB SDRAM
    - 60GB HDD
    - ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 - 64 MB

    What distribution can i install on this system and what special configurations do i have to make?

    I tried with iDeneb, successfully installed, on reboot Mac Logo Freezez.

    For this system you will need a patched kernel like voodoo or speedstep, what distro are you trying to install, and how did you customize?
