From my limited experience but having 9 distros in hand, I'd recommend iDeneb any day of the week to you.
If I were you, I'd try the iDeneb Lite 10.5.8 that I think recently came out. I had pretty good luck with it and with the 10.5.6 version also. But I will say that you should be prepared to reinstall until you figure out the right combination to get your mess to run OSX.
And from my experience with the Nforce chipset, be prepared to pull out some of your hair too. I've got an old Dell 2200 that uses all Intel hardware and it's been fairly easy to install and run on that machine. I'm currently trying to install it on my newer laptop with is AMD with the Nforce chipset and I'm on about my 50th reinstall right now as I type this. So it's been a wonderful journey to say the least.
