Which version is the latest?

Ok, I just ordered an Acer laptop. It should arrive on Saturday.

Here are the specs,

Acer Aspire 5935
Intel Centrino 2 Technology
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz
4 GB DDR3 Ram
nVidia Geforce GT 130M 1 GB vram
500 GB SATA 7200rpm
15.6" Screen
Windows Vista Home Premium x86

- My first question is which version of OSX is the latest for me to download?

- Then, will it run on my laptop?

- I want to quad boot my laptop actually, ubuntu, windows 7 x64, windows XP x86 and OSX if possible.

So yeah thats all my question now.

The latest is OSX 10.5.7, I think iatkos v7 is using this version, you can check this in uphuck site, now I think theres no support for your video card :/ take a look in the HCL to know, good luck

Based on the spec you gave, it is may be possible to have OSX running on that machine. I am not sure about the graphic chipset and whether you can get qe/ci running. You may want to use nvenabler, nvinject or use chameleon RC built-in graphic enabler.

There is only one current version of OSX, Leopard that is. (10.5.8 is the latest)
There are different distros such as iatkos v7, ideneb 1.5, IPC and etc ...
These distro may/may not work for you.

Lastly, if you want to quad boot and you know nothing about OSX then I think you should do more reading before tackling this. It's not going to be simple. You have to understing GPT/MBR, understand how to use bootloader, and the list go on and on.

I'm not discouraging you but realistically you should do more reading and research. A simple question like you posted here is much much more involved and complicated than as presented.
