    Default [Solved] Installing on Gigabyte P35

    Hi All

    Newbie here, ive spent the last few days searching around these forums but struggled to find what distro i might require:

    I found the post below which confirms that my motherboard is suitable however im after a little more info regarding the distro i will require, ive included more of my spec below:

    Here some combos for new users, you can feel free to change everything you want, but the mobo...

    You can check the HCL for better video, audio, wireless and everything you need add in the system.

    Main Page - OSx86

    The processor doesnt matter, so you can always change it too ;P

    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3, GA-P35C-DS3R, GA-X48-DS4, Asus P5Q Deluxe
    Processor: Core 2 Quad Q9550
    Video: nVidia 8800GT 512 mb
    Memory: 4GB RAM DDR2
    Hard Drive: 500GB 7200 rpm + 300 GB 10000 rpm
    Power Supply 750/1000w
    DVDRW Serial ATA
    My Specification:

    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R Socket 775
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
    Ram: Corsair 4GB (4x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2
    HD: Maxtor STM3250310AS 250GB SATAII
    GPU: Nvidia 8800GTX 768MB GDDR3
    PSU: Cant remember brand but 850w

    Can anybody help?

    Hey there you should try to install retail, follow munkys guide for it, but if you wanna try with a distro go with iAtkos v7i or ideneb, check the official site for each distro to know the basic, prepare yourself and good luck
