Hi I'm new to the forums. I am an avid computer person haha. I am enrolled in a bunch of classes at school for computers, today another classmate and I were discussing Macs, he told me about this site and told me to go give the installation of OS X a try. So I really don't have an idea what I'm doing but with some guidance I'd love to become a great contributor to the forums.

After reading some threads in this section it seems as if people are asking what distribution they should run? Here are my computer specs just ask if you need more info
