New Dell XPS M1530

I just bought a Dell XPS M1530 and I've been having some issues installing OS X on it and was wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. Possibly using the wrong distro? My specs are:

Core2Duo T7500 2.2GHz CPU
2GB DDR2 667 MHz RAM
Internal Sound Blaster Audigy (that's what the order says)
GeForce 8600M GT 256MB Video Card
Intel 3945 802.11 Wireless
160 GB 5400RPM HDD
Marvell Yukon 88E8040 PCI-E Fast Ethernet
TEAC DVD+-RW DVW28SLC ATA
