iAtkos v7 10.5.7 on HP DV1000 (old)
I have a hp pavilion dv1000 laptop and was trying to install iatkos on it but im having a little trouble. my dvd drive and hard drive on it are slow as hell and ive reinstalled this about 5 times now over 2 days. i need to know exactly what to check in customize. heres the specs of the laptop

Old doesn't mean useless.
My DV 1000 is running the newest iAtkos well enough. No sound or wireless tho...which is common. Looking for a kext patch to correct these issues.
Will probably write one my self eventually.
LAN port is working and has me online.
In the setup process, when you get to the point where you can customize the installation, click on the customize button, then click any choice that says Intel.
Be careful of choosing conflicting features, or more than one item where you should not.
Should at least get you closer if not actually booted up on Leopard.

To activate wireless, if your wireless card is Intel2200bg, go to VoodooIntel2200bg and follow the instructions
If you are not able to boot up during installation and only blue screen appears. Two possible solution
1) Connect external monitor (works for me)
2) Press FN+F4 continuosly until it passes the blue screen. (It only work partially because the installation screen is messed up)
