HP Pavillion DM-1

Will there be any chance to get a working distro for the HP DM-1?
I've spent hours in trying to get a working distro but it seems nearly impossible. Any suggestions??? This HP machine is marvelous and a perfect cheapo power horse with awsome battery life, but it seems that no one cares... :(

I believe there are issues with the graphics. Tried iAtkos and a few others without success...
