hackintosh on netbook
I have just bought a new compaq mini 110 netbook from best buy. I would like to run mac os x on it as i already have an iMac desktop. I know i can download files and hackintosh it but it seems a bit complex. I have the os x disk from when it came with the desktop so is there any other way i can somehow put it onto a flash drive or something and then directly into the netbook as it does not have an internal disk drive. Any ideas are welcome and very appreciated as I am not very knowledgable on this topic. Thanks
You can just install osx onyour flash drive from your iMac, right?
1.format your flash drive with disk utilty for mac osx journaled
2.load your osx disk , go to folder system\installation\package
3.double click /run file Osinstall.mpkg
4.install it to your flash/usb drive
5.download chameleon boot loader, install it on your usb drive ( becarefull! Not on your iMac.)
6. Find kexts and patches for your hardware/nootebook , install it.
7. Reboot your notebook from usb : -v -f
8. Come back here for kernel panics
