Hackintosh on Compaq Presario CQ62-215DX

Excuse me if I am asking in the wrong place, I'm new here.

I've got this Compaq laptop that I would like to install OSX86 onto but I don't even know where to start! I burned a DVD a few years ago for my Intel based laptop but this is an AMD based laptop so I know for sure that this DVD won't work.

I am posting here because I need help with gathering the right resources and beginning the installation. I'm not sure exactly what hardware information I need to post either but if you guys can help, that'd be great.

My very limited knowledge opinion, don't waste your time. A Compaq is basically an HP. I don't know the specs of your system so I have no idea if it's AMD or Intel. Word of advice, I haven't looked up your laptop by model number and I doubt anybody else will either. Post your system specs as fully as you can if you expect to get any help, here or anywhere else for that matter. Not only will it help whoever may offer to help you but most of the information you're going to need to know yourself if you ever get the install started. You're gonna need to know as much about your laptop as possible so you can get the correct kext (drivers) for the hardware.

My experience with an HP laptop, don't waste your time. I couldn't get trackpad or keyboard support and had to use an external USB device. What's the point in that? My Intel laptops by Dell, was a cake walk.

And after saying that, I have to say that if you like OS_X then you should buy a real Mac. I will argue until I die...OS_X on a PC is not the same as OS_X on a real Mac. I tried the Hackintosh thing...liked OS_X and so I bought not one but two Mac's. There is a difference.
