Best Distro for this rig boys?

Hey guys,

I've been trying to boot up iATKOS S3 for so long now, and no cigar. Still waiting for root device, I seriously googled for 3 hours straight and to my dismay, NO WORK.

What do you guys recommend for this setup, which distro?

I would like to add. I am planning to boot this on a G.Skill SSD, 60 gig Pro Phoenix. No idea why Speccy shows (IDE), all my drives are SATA, and set to AHCI in bios.
