Hi - Thank you for your very useful forum !

As new, I'd surely like to understand the general principle of how these distros evolve -

meaning,
do the newer / newest distros get more ?

or less ?

tolerant & inclusive of the hardware they will successfully run on ?

so if a person has a pc that's say a couple years old,
maybe one of the first to have SS3 sets,
should they look to older, or newer distros ?
