Default Ouch..my brain hurts. Plz help w/distro

First off I LOVE these forums. A wealth of info that I know I will use and help others with in the future. BUT! I have been looking for days on many sites for an answer to my distro question and found MANY conflicting answers. Maybe someone here can help? What distro would be best for my setup?

    HP Pavillion a6030n
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4800+
    NVIDIA nForce 430 Chipset
    DDR2-SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE Graphics / 128MB dedicated graphics memory
ECS MCP61PM-HM mobo (equivalent to Asus M2N68-LA I'm told)
Network: nForce Networking Controller & Atheros D-Link AirPlus G DWL G510wireless
    Audio: Realtech HD
    Pheonix Bios

I tried this last year with iAktos and was not able to get it going after a few tries. Was going to try iPC 10.5.6 Final this time but I'm just not sure. I know I might not have sound and wireless? But am willing to upgrade those things to more compatible. I desperately need os x on this machine for Final cut Pro and Pro tools. Anyone PLEASE help?! I will DEF pay it forward. Thanx!

I officially have a working (so far) Hackintosh!!!! I wish I could say thanks to hackint0sh forums but no one had a clue i guess. Sooooo, if anyone out there has my specs or close to it and needs ANY help please let me know. I ended up using Kalyway 10.5.2 and it finally worked after 3 times installing it. 3 intalls mostly because i have never done this before. Typing this on it now!! ;-). Everything seems to work. Just need to figure out how to load graphics card drivers. Stuck at 1024x768 on a display thats 1440x900. If anyone has an answer to this i would REALLY appreciate it. Can I just download drivers from the net?

try put EFI String for your graphics on device properties key in com.apple.Boot.plist .
You can use OSX86 Tools app to do it.

    good luck.

Check your Applications folder, look for OSX86 Tools, if you have it, check middle part there is a button ...add Efi String/ boot flag...

or just open your com.apple.Boot.plist (in Library/Preferances/SystemConfiguration)
add these lines before the </dict>:

    <key>device-properties</key>
    <string>6602000001000000010000005a0200000d00000002 010c00d041030a000000000101060000010101060000007fff 04001e00000072006f006d002d007200650076006900730069 006f006e0000002b0000006e5669646961204765466f726365 2036313530204f70656e474c20456e67696e65205b4546495d 22000000400030002c006400650076006900630065005f0074 0079007000650000000b000000646973706c6179100000004e 00560043004100500000001800000004000000000003000c00 000000000007000000000e0000006e0061006d00650000000b 000000646973706c617914000000400030002c006e0061006d 0065000000120000004e5644412c446973706c61792d411000 00006d006f00640065006c000000170000006e566964696120 4765466f72636520363135300e0000004e00560050004d0000 00200000000100000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000014000000400031002c006e0061006d0065 000000120000004e5644412c446973706c61792d4220000000 400031002c0063006f006d00700061007400690062006c0065 0000000e0000004e5644412c4e564d61632200000056005200 41004d002c0074006f00740061006c00730069007a00650000 00080000000000000820000000400030002c0063006f006d00 700061007400690062006c00650000000e0000004e5644412c 4e564d616322000000400031002c0064006500760069006300 65005f00740079007000650000000b000000646973706c6179 1c0000006400650076006900630065005f0074007900700065 0000000f0000004e5644412c506172656e74</string>

No joy Swordsman. Did not work. I'm really about to give up. Not asking for dual outputs or anything crazy. Just need a non blurry, 1400x900 image. AHHHHHH! Been at this for days now. I've see MANY posts where ppl claim the 4200 pro hd PCIe (0x94c3) works under Kalyway 10.5.2. but I'm not buying it. Anyone with any other ideas?
Thanks for the help though swordsman. Nice axe in your profile! Gene Simmons bass?

Ok so I changed my distro to iAtkos v7 to try and solve my video problems. Still does not work!! It's nice being at 10.5.7 but my visiontek 4200 hd PCIe (0x94c3) still has a horrible 1024x768 resolution. I at least need 1400x900 non blurry image. quartz would be nice but for now a nice image would do. Some one? Anyone? Please? It's my last hurdle to a great hackintosh and i have tried MANY things I have found on forums.

Finallly!!!! I got it to work after 3 days of hell! Here is what I did for those stuck. Follow this EXACTLY:
It works flawlessly with ATI Radeon 2400 HD Pro.
Once you install Triakis you must add your dev id into the ATI2000xRadeon.kext , to do so open /System/Library/Extensionsin there lookup for the fore-mentioned kext and do control+click and select Show Package Contents, there go to /Contents and copy the file info.plist to your desktop, keep the window open. Once copied open it up and look for the line that says

    <key>IOPCIMatch</key><string>0x94001002 0x94011002 0x94021002 0x94031002 0x95811002 0x95831002 0x95881002 0x94c31002 0x94c81002 0x94c91002</string>

On the line where it says<string> add your device id (ex. 0x94c3 + vendor id ATI=1002 0x94c31002) once you edited it, go to file>save and save it like Info.plist if you get a confirmation dialog click on Use .Plist.

Once that is done copy the .plist file back into the ATI2000xRadeon.kext Leopard will ask you to replace the file, click on replace and input your password to authenticate. After you copy the Info.plist file close the window, and go back to /System/Library and look for Extensions.mkext select that file and send it to the Trash. Now open a terminal and run the following command: sudo kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions.

Afterwards, open Disk Utility and Repair Disk Permissions. Then reboot, and voila everything will be working!!!!

If anyone needs help with this please let me know. I know how difficult this stuff can be.
