Looking at your specifications, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If I were you, I'd download the iDeneb 10.5.7 installer, burn it to DVD and go from there. Before you install, make sure you have a recovery DVD for Windows set aside should things not work.

Also, go to the System > Hardware > Device Manager and write down all the details of your hardware, including DVD drive type and interface, Hard disk drive type, size, and interface, and chipset.

Install using the vanilla kernal
