I'm New to This, Need Help Finding Whats Best For my Hardware
I never installed OSX on anything other then Mac Hardware before and I'd love to put Leopard on this PC I Have, I'm using Windows 7 x64 Build 7600, for Microsoft, its great, but its no OS X... anyway, Just want to know what would be the BEST possible and easiest method to get OS X Leopard on this Machine.
3GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+
512MB GDDR4 ATI Radeon HD 3870 (sapphire)
4GB DDR2 800Mhz
ECS Geforce 6100SM-M2 Mobo
Creative Live! Xtreme Gamer
18x LG DL DVD-RW
2 x 1TB WD SATA300
4 x 500GB WD SATAII
1 x 320GB IDE
800Watt Thermaltake PSU
First step: simplify your hardware. Remove 2 gigs of RAM to get you down to 2 gigs total. Remove the Creative sound card. Remove the IDE hard disk. If you have an IDE optical drive, replace it with a SATA drive or use an external USB drive or IDE->SATA converter.

Configure your BIOS correctly, and attempted it with Lawless 10.5.4 or iDeneb 10.5.6. I spent the better part of the month trying to get X on my Phenom based machine and these are the only two distros I could get installed. Your best bet would be to either build another box or to replace your existing mobo and processor with gigabyte + intel.
