    Default Iatkos 7 > Asus P5N-E sli

    Hello all,

I tried and tried again : My install is ok, but i have some crashes at anytime.

First of all, here is my config :

    Asus P5N-E sli
    C2D E8400
    4x1Gb Ballistix PC6400
    EVGA 8800GTS 640Mo
    1 SATA 320GB (XP)
    1 SATA 500 GB (strorage)
    1 IDE 320 GB with a 60Gb partition (OSX)

What did I do till now :

I configured my BIOS like that :
    Disable Bit : Enabe/Disable
    Cpu-max limit : Disable
    Virtualization : Disable/Enable
    Hpet : Enable
    Jmicron : Disable/Enable

I customized my install like that :
    Default
    +
    VGA > nvinject
    Wifi
    Sata/Ide driver > Nforce4 driver

    For kernel, I tried :
Vanilla > Freeze with the message to reboot.
Voodoo 9.5 > Freeze at any time
    Voodoo 9.7 > Same thing
    Voodoo 2 alpha > Same

I really dont know what else to trie. So If somebody has any suggestion, I'll take it. i just precise that the install always goes right. All the crashes (kernel panic) happen at anytime, while I'm doing something or not, while I'm in front of my computer or not. I also precise that I'm a beginner in osx86.

Here, an example of the screens I got :

Thanks a lot for your help and sorry for my approximative english.

Take out 2GB of ram. Install only with two. When you finish setting your sistem, put ram back.

    Worked for me. (8GB ram, p5n e sli, e6420)
