Id like to start off by saying ive literally looked all over at insanlymac,infinitemac, osx86project for about a month and a half now and have tried at least 4 different distros for my configuration and have had no luck. So in my last attempt to get it working i need some1s help who would be willing to invest some time in helping me as i would really really really appreciate it. My current specs are

Processor - Intel core 2 duo e8600
Mobo - Evga 790i ftw
Graphics card - Ati radeon 3870 hd
sound - integrated
network card - integrated

If some1 could plz help me find a mac distro that works i would soooo much apprecate it, i hate windows and im really really hoping i can find a nice mac distro for me. Thanks so much in advance guys. Im sorry to bug u guys but ive truly truly been researching this very heavily and have found nothing to work for me. Please some1 help.

well what i can tell you will work with your board is the usb version of mac osx i think it called ipoartable and that works but it got alot of useless stuff but a good way to figure out how to use kext and things.

The way i got kalyway 10.5.2 to work in my evga 790i board is use my computer with a asus striker extreme 680i board and install it on that and then transfer the hard drive to my 790i computer and it worked , but i have problems with my apple keyboard working and my cd drive doesnt really want to work with me .

it just sucks that i cant find a way to copy the boot efi file and put it towards booting a newer version of mac osx

right now im trying to find out if i can get another version like iatkos 5i working and stuff.
